The Town of Chenango is the 3rd largest town in Broome County  New York.  The town is located on the western shore of the Chenango River and borders the northern edge of the City of Binghamton.   To the west are the rolling hills of the Chenango River valley.  The northern border of the town reaches toward Chenango County.
 

The Town of Chenango includes the hamlets of Castle Creek, Chenango Bridge, Nimmonsburg, Chenango Forks & Kattelville. Located in the town is the NYS Route 12 (Front Street) north/south corridor & Interstate 81 winding towards the remainder of upstate New York.
